Two weekends....and a MONDAY
So work has kept me busy, and so have the weekends so I'll just point out the highlights:
A round of "Cursed" and the new joke of "Bock, Bock" (you so had to be there) with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
teardrop2000,twilight2000 and her crew.
A choppy but fun weekend visit from my cousins, K and M with C the adopted boi.
A much delayed visit to R.
Got a wild ride into an underground parking lot intrenchwench's side car (v. comfy!)
Had the worlds best hummus at Mediterranean Kitchen withtrenchwench and much conversation.
The next weekend started out with
A lovely sudden meeting withxlana and her assorted family and relatives at the Country place. Had a decadent lunch at the Country Kitchen Cafe, then somehow lost all of the hours of the day wandering and geeking until someone pointed out it was 6. I was like, well, I guess that's Saturday.
And finished with
8 straight hours of silver polishing. My hands still smell like silver. It's a metal smell I used to like. Now I smell like fillings. All the time. Here's hoping it goes away soon, but it's one more step to completion on the house. A little more plastic wrap and finding all that silver a home and we're on to Art. *whoo-hoo*
This week at work started out with one hell of a bang. All of the computers were down on Saturday, so everything is a zoo, and was busy, busy, busy on top of it. And Dr.C won't even be back until Wednesday to round up her portion of the zoo. *Ugh* So today was wild and crazy, Dr K never got lunch, and K barely got hers -but because I'm the receptionist I got mine. I feel a little guilty.
Add to that I scheduled a 16ft, 100LB Albino Burmese Python for her yearly exam. Next Monday. She's named Isabell. Slow, perhaps, occasionally tedious, definitely, but boring? Nope. Not for a moment.
I have an odd job.
