Tonight at exactly 10:34 PM PST we recieved this picture:

And a short note which read - "My compliments to us all. Your 'daughter' is officially a President's Grand Victor - formally known as  Hoytt's African Queen CD"


And while she'll have to get used to Coke in this household, with her third Obedience win taking her title - she can come home!!!


This means we'll be having a dog home very, very soon!

Wow, Oba has shed her puppy cuteness and leapt with all four paws into the "sleek-momma" pool. She's beautiful. And a champion?

She does have that sleek look doesn't she? I can't wait to get her home and ruffle those ears! Hopefully we'll be able to connect via phone with the breeder tonight and get a final ETA!!!!

She won her Obedience title - she has to get a passing score at 3 separate AKC Obedience shows - then she gets the CD. This is things like sit, down, stay and heel. Basic obedience stuff.

Champion (CH after the name) usually refers to the winning a Conformation title, what most people think of when they think dog show. It's based on how well they physically conform to the breed standard, all they have to do is look awesome, walk and stand.
