Dad's Out of Sx

kisthaHe's out and Mom should be able to see him soon. 5 1/2 hours later and a quadruple bypass later he's in the ICU for the next 24 hours.
The doc says it went really well, so we're headed out for a nap while they keep him sedated for a few hours until they are ready to pull the trach tube. Funny, he's also orange like an oompa loompa. (From the antibacterial paint)
It looks very good though.
Mom's feels likely that she can finally sleep now that he's out and doing very well.
