What does it mean that we discovered it was snowing outside through LJ?

And there's a fair amount of melting going on, but I hear there's more coming. It started snowing yesterday at eleven in the morning and didn't stop until early this morning. I wish I had better play gear for the snow, and didn't have this fucking cold that will not die that I brought back from Disneyland.
At this point I don't know that we'll be making it to B'ham for Christmas. Bad year for it - hope Mom will be OK if we can't make it.

It must have been all that Banana Bread Power I had goin' on in the kitchen. (Gods knows it's plenty warm in here now.)
I only bake when I get a wild hair up my butt (or too many brown bananas in the freezer) and I pretty much only do cakes and quick breads. Usually it's my Mom's Banana Bread recipe. Usually, this means I'm also baking in bulk. For example today was 3 times the recipe.

I am soooooooo spoiled now.
This was so easy compared to doing it by hand. It was so fabulous. I can't even begin to explain!
The game night and D&D groups should be happy though....

Just in case anyone wanted to know, it is snowing in the Bothell/Kirkland area too.
And in the hills, it's sticking, and the roads are getting a bit mushy up high.
Down low (brief run to the grocery store) is still wet roads.
And we've gone from fluffy to small but still coming down.
