I have a hard time believing I'm doing this. Talk about craziness.

I guess I know the answer to the age old parental question: "If your friends decided to jump of a bridge, would you?"

The problem with LJ: We all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away.

I reserve the right to not answer if it is too personal or hideously awkward.

Look Out Below!!!!!!

What are your political affiliations, or, leanings if you have no affiliations?

It's one of my many idiosyncrasies that I don't believe in party affiliations. I vote with whom ever sounds closest to what I believe in, regardless of party; or when in total disarray the least evil choice.

Usually I end up somewhere in the Democratic, Libertarian, Green departments...usually but it's not always true.

Hot topics? I'm Pro-Choice, Against the War, For the Military, For Welfare (and reforms that make sense, please) Against Rich Tax Cuts, Against the Death Penalty by a smidgen (and occasionally waffle) And Bush has always been last on my list, unless I'm listing asshats.

Hmm -- so, Fantasy or Science Fiction? Or some other genre that I can't imagine? :>

Definitely Fantasy vs SFI.

I like a lot of 'fiction' especially historical fiction (as long as the research is as accurate as it can be, which makes me picky.) I also like some pure fantasy, but ultimately I think I read fiction. Lots of it. I also read what could be called "Urban Fantasy" and "Horror" and "Paranormal Fiction" and "Paranormal Romance." SFI is usually too technical for me, but give me intrigue and plots with plots and I'm a happy camper though.

I was thinking just today that there are too many genres out there now. I hardly know what I read since it's become so painfully subdivided.

So how are you liking Tigana?

The subdivisions are at the point of crazy -- and add to that the stores tend to put all of them in one place, undivided at all -- just to be even more confusing :>.

And I'll know more about Tigana as soon as I'm done with the one I'm working on :>.
