Beading

rhienelleth has just discovered the joys and heartaches ($$$) of beading. She's sucked shadawyn in (or back in) and we were talking about getting together and talking about it at Writer's Weekend sometime - preferably before they want to be in any panels and I have to start working at the conference. So far we don't have a schedule, but since it's mostly me that doesn't know, I have no one to blame but myself. I'm hoping to know soon.

Anyhoo, one of the things rhienelleth mentioned is having us bring stuff we've done. Sounds like a good idea. Then I looked around and realized that I have basically nothing. I have one embroidery piece I did for dthon and I have a feather piece I beaded for myself and another for dthon. So three things - but dthon's is packed.

Still, that leaves (out of several *years* of beading) exactly 1 thing I've beaded for myself that I've kept. All of the necklaces, bracelets, rosaries, and such that I've made I've given away. All of it.

I guess usually don't make something unless I'm making it for someone else.

Weird.

PS - and yes, I did have to make a beading icon. It's not bad for a quick throw together.

If I remember correctly, the other was a magic thingy, and you should keep it.
